Portfolio Night

The Graphic Design program at College of DuPage holds an annual event—Portfolios 2023. This event allows each student completing the program to show off their hard work as well as individual design submissions.

What is Portfolios 2023?

Portfolios 2023 celebrates the work of students in the Graphic Design program. Students of the Portfolio Seminar class will be available to present and discuss their portfolio of work created in various classes throughout the program. Their original, creative work will range from a variety of graphic design work and illustrations, ad campaigns, and web design. Portfolios 2023 is also an exhibition of award-winning work!

You’re Invited!

Portfolios Night 2023 will be on May 10th starting at 6:00 PM in SRC 2000

Portfolios 2023 is a community event and is open to high school and college students, family, and friends. In addition, community residents, the business community, and anyone with the desire to view great work and learn more about some of the hottest career opportunities is welcome to attend.

What is There to See and Do?

In addition to viewing great student portfolios, the evening includes an awards ceremony, where College of DuPage Graphic Design students and DuPage County high school art and design students will receive awards and prizes. All first place, honorable mention, and finalist work will be displayed at the event. There will also be snacks and beverages available throughout the evening’s festivities.

Awards

Graphic Design students will receive first place awards and prizes in the following categories: Portfolio, Identity Design, Publication Design, Illustration, 3D Design, and Web Design. Honorable mentions and prizes will also be awarded.

In the High School Competition, first place awards and prizes will be given in the following categories: Illustration and Graphic Design. Honorable mentions and prizes will also be awarded.
